Bach St John Passion \nChoir of Royal Holloway\nBristol Ensemble Baroque\nChristopher Willoughby Evangelist\nRupert Gough Conductor \nBristol Ensemble Baroque ushers in Easter with a performance of Bach’s glorious setting of the St John Passion.  Bach’s interpretation of the Passion of Christ is one of the most moving and emotive set to music. The Choir of Royal Holloway joins the period instruments of the Bristol Ensemble Baroque for what promises to be a moving rendition of this great Baroque masterpiece. The performance will be given against a backdrop of wonderful period paintings depicting the scenes of the St John Passion.
