Beethoven’s sparkling ‘Kakadu’ Variations\, transform a simple popular tune into a brilliantly inventive sequence of characterful variations\, full of humour and dramatic flair. \nSchubert’s Notturno offers a moment of luminous calm: an expansive\, song-like meditation whose glowing melodies unfold with characteristic Schubertian warmth. \nCompleting the recital is Mozart’s Piano Trio in B flat\, a work of effortless charm and sophistication in which piano\, violin and cello converse with graceful balance\, combining playful brilliance with moments of lyrical beauty. \nTea and cakes served at 4pm.
