Your autumn soundtrack: live music with Bristol Ensemble

As the evenings draw in, there’s plenty to look forward to with Bristol Ensemble. On Wednesday 14 October, we return to St George’s Bristol for a programme featuring Haydn’s C major Cello Concerto, Poulenc’s Gloria, Finzi’s Magnificat and Fauré’s Pavane. Then, on 24 October, Paris by Night brings the music of Edith Piaf, Fauré and Poulenc to Cossham Hall in Thornbury – a little French atmosphere for an autumn evening.

November brings more musical discoveries, with Kevin Figes’ Sound Dimensions at Bristol Beacon’s Lantern on 2 November and Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons at Curzon Clevedon on 8 November.
