Music by man to inspire God – words taken from Aidan McGee’s poem Ode to Bach’s Mass in B Minor, in which he describes the work as “…a shocking, shaking megatone polyphonic bomb of a wondrous Kyrie Elation”. Amici will be performing this stunning work on Saturday 2nd December in King’s College Chapel, with Bristol Ensemble and prestigious soloists.
