Principal players from the Bristol Ensemble present a delightful afternoon of chamber music including Vivaldi’s enduringly-popular Summer from The Four Seasons, and the graceful elegance of Mozart’s much-loved Flute Quartet, a work full of lyrical charm, sparkling dialogue and effortless wit.

John Rutter’s Suite Antique offers a playful nod to earlier musical styles, blending baroque-inspired dance movements with Rutter’s unmistakable melodic warmth and colour. Written for flute, harpsichord and strings, it moves from lively to reflective with irresistible charm. Bach’s beautifully lyrical Air on the G String completes the programme.
