This programme brings together three Viennese masters in music of elegance, lyricism and wit. Beethoven’s sparkling ‘Kakadu’ Variations, transform a simple popular tune into a brilliantly inventive sequence of characterful variations, full of humour and dramatic flair.

Schubert’s Notturno offers a moment of luminous calm: an expansive, song-like meditation whose glowing melodies unfold with characteristic Schubertian warmth.

Completing the recital is Mozart’s Piano Trio in B flat, a work of effortless charm and sophistication in which piano, violin and cello converse with graceful balance, combining playful brilliance with moments of lyrical beauty.
