Stroud Choral Society is joined by Bristol Ensemble to perform Bach’s St John Passion in the wonderful setting of St John Baptist Cirencester.
Most appropriate for this time of Lent, the work tells the story of Christ`s passion and suffering leading to the crucifixion with strong drama, beautiful arias and memorable, hymn-like chorales.
