Daniel Elston

Dan is a drummer and percussionist who has been playing for over 20 years. He started working in education in 2012 and joined the Preludes Music team in 2015. He delivers drum lessons as well as whole class music lessons with the overall aim to make students associate music with fun and having an enjoyable time. 

Dan has always been Bristol based which led him to study Professional Musicianship at BIMM Music Institute, as he was already establishing himself in Bristol’s vibrant music scene. Since graduating, Dan has played with multiple original projects, tribute acts and function bands over the years, which have provided some fantastic opportunities working around Europe. In the education sector he has worked for Yamaha music school and in multiple schools around the Bristol area. 

When Dan isn’t playing music he loves going to events and festivals, socialising with friends and family and gaming.
