Helen Pidoux

Helen plays violin and piano and has been a part of Preludes Music since 2019 delivering string lessons to schools across Bristol. Helen feels privileged to witness daily the pastoral effect that Preludes Music has on students as individuals and schools as a whole. The determination, pride, ownership and excitement in preparing for a Preludes Music concert bond’s students, tutors, teachers and parents resulting in heartfelt atmospheric performances which are remembered for a lifetime.

Helen graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as a classically trained violinist. Alongside her work with Preludes Music, Helen is an orchestral tutor and Violin teacher for Bristol Beacon. Her latest project involves playing reminiscent songs in care homes for people with dementia.

Helen also enjoys spending time with her close family and friends, participating in any form of outdoor activity which may help exercise/tire her own lively children and performing with Panache Steel Band!
