Jo Fallowfield
Jo has been working with Preludes Music since 2015 and teaches whole class lessons and string groups. She loves being part of a team, and it’s a mutually satisfying arrangement as she gets as much out of it as the children do!
Jo studied violin and piano at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 1990. She soon decided that she wanted to see the world so became a freelancer in the TV industry, working for Wildlife film companies and in Features at the BBC on programmes such as Holiday Swaps, the Antiques Show and DIY SOS. In 2005 she decided to return to music, teaching privately and as a peripatetic in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. She has also worked for Fresh Arts as a pianist in Southmead hospital and as part of a trio entertaining in hospital wards.
Jo loves anything to do with gardening and learning Latin names of plants! She also loves Nordic Walks and swimming in Henleaze Lake in Bristol – even when it’s really cold!
