Sara Ratcliffe

Sara has worked for Preludes Music since 2018. She delivers mostly whole class lessons but also teaches guitar, piano and trumpet. She believes in making music inclusive and accessible to all young people and working with Preludes Music allows her to do this. Sara says she feels very lucky to share her passion for music to young people across Bristol.

Sara’s musical journey began at the young age of 5 when she began learning to play the piano. She later went on to learn to play the guitar and the flute. Sara studied music at Plymouth University and gained a BA in Music in 2008. Alongside her Preludes Music work, she works with the Flow Creative delivering workshops to young people with additional needs and teaches members of the National Open Youth Orchestra. 

When Sara’s not teaching, she enjoys DJing, taking off in her campervan, festivals and live music!
