Round Dance is a fun and accessible introduction to group percussion, designed to get the whole class playing together. With six different percussion instruments using crotchets and quavers only, every child has a part to play while developing their listening, rhythm and ensemble skills.
The accompanying teaching resource offers step by step guidance on teaching the piece, from clapping the rhythms to bringing all six instrument groups together.
Each instrument part uses Preludes Music’s colour-coded instrument key, giving children clear visual cues to help them follow and read the music.
